Women’s Soccer is taking off on the
Treasure
Coast
. It is proving to be a great way to get into or stay in shape, meet new people and have a great time. Most of these programs are for any level player, including beginners.
Two area clubs offer programs for their members, Port St. Lucie Soccer Club and Jensen Beach Soccer Club. Port St. Lucie Soccer Club has a Moms’ League that is totally free to any mom who has a child registered at the club. These moms play a very organized 10 game season with referees and coaches and have practices 2 times a week. For more information go www.pslsoccerclub.com. Also, in honor of the Women’s National Day in Sports, the club is hosting moms’ game and reception.
Moms at Jensen Beach Soccer Club can participate in the Moms’ Soccer program. The club offers 2 weekly practices with trainers and weekly games with coaches and referees. For more information go to www.jbsoccer.org or e-mail info@jbsoccer.org. The philosophy of JBSC’s Moms Soccer is to promote fitness through soccer at a purely recreational level.
