Uniform Buying Guide

Following the steps outlined in this guideline will assure your team of getting the best value available to them. We will work with you every step of the way to make the process as easy and smooth as possible. Please take each of the following steps one at a time:

BUDGET

Starting with an honest evaluation of the amount that is affordable to your organization will go a long way to help you find the right uniform. There are many price points available from each manufacturer. Determining what is comfortable for you will enable us to filter down the wide range of choices to those best suited to your budget.

TIME REQUIREMENTS

You will need to plan far enough ahead to avoid disappointment. PK’s can advise you about deadlines from each manufacturer. Late summer/early fall is the busiest time for all suppliers. Allowing a reasonable amount of time will get the job done right the first time. Depending on the brand and the amount of customization, you will need to allow 8 weeks lead time for a club/school order. Once you are a PK’s team member, we will be able to fill most emergency needs much more quickly.

PRODUCT SELECTION

PK’s represents all the major soccer brands. Our job is to help you select the one that best suits your teams’ needs. Factors such as the length of time that the uniform will continue to be manufactured and reputation of the brand for delivery fulfillment should be serious considerations. Proper color combinations and climate specific fabrics are also very important. It is also important to limit the number of decision makers. For a club or school, a small uniform committee is usually better suited to making a decision. PK’s will provide product catalogs to the decision makers. Once a committee is presented with the choices, it's easy for them to narrow it down to 2 or 3 uniforms on which to vote. This same selection process should apply to warm-ups and accessories as well.

SIZING AND PLACING THE ORDER

Your PK’s uniform expert will be happy to put everything in writing, including complete pricing information, sizing charts, delivery schedule and process. Nothing will be left to chance and there will be no misunderstandings. Once a uniform has been decided upon, samples will be provided in all sizes so that a custom fit can be assured. The samples can be handled by a club/school uniform coordinator or we can arrange a “PK’s Sizing Party” where the teams can come in, be expertly sized, and enjoy a 20% off shopping spree for all their seasonal needs.

DELIVERY

The hard part is over! Once we receive your kits from the manufacturer, we will customize them to your exact specifications. Logos can be embroidered or silk-screened and remember, NUMBERING IS FREE!!! Once customization is complete, PK’s can deliver the uniforms to you, or a pick up at the shop can be arranged. Teams can expect discounts on all purchases made after uniform delivery as well because with each uniform a “PK’s Select Club Card” will be issued entitling the bearer to 10% savings on all their gear through the whole year!
